The first thing that went out the window during pregnancy was going to the gym. I was tired. I was always hot (body temperature and weather in Florida did not ease that issue up at all), and I was waddling! Let us not forget what came during pregnancy and has has stayed with me since then, light bladder leakage. People will tell you all about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and losing or battling the weight. One way or another, most women want to drop the weight, we just need to find the energy and the time after giving birth. Finding time for the gym after kids, is a task in itself!
This is a sponsored post, but everything you are about to read is completely 100% relevant to my life and it is my opinions and those of other parents that have opened up to me about light bladder leakage. I’ve talked about the Poise® Impressa® Sizing Kit before but this time is a little different. This time, I wanted to go back to the gym. My gym provided childcare to going to the gym after kids was something I could fit in to my schedule!
When it came time to get back in to a gym routine, I knew there were a few things I was having personal issues with. First, when I squat, do crunches, leg press, running, and even biking….sometimes….my bladder rears her ugly head. Even if you want to skip the gym on the week you and Mother Nature are duking it out, you can’t skip the whole month because of LBL! I loathe pads. They shift. They harbor stink. The end.
So here is how you are going to get your boost in confidence and get back to the glorious fit Mama you envisioned after giving birth!
*Kick the fear of LBL to the curb. with Poise© Impressa© you can go pad free and have the security of leaving the gym with dry undergarments! It’s bad enough we sweat all over our clothing, let us not include a streak of other bodily fluids on the seats or our form fitted yoga pants! Find your size now with the Impressa® Sizing Kit and you can get $2.50 back on the Ibotta APP! If you know your size or bought the sizing kit and are ready to invest in your LBL control, you can get $4.00 back on the pack!
*Next you want to invest in yourself as a whole. Nothing motivates me more to feel fit and fashionable while working out. I bought myself some brand new sports bras, yoga pants, and tanks! I found apparel that accented the areas of my body I loved already and helped hide the areas I am working diligently on!
*Treat yourself to something for the gym and then something as rewards for meeting goals. One week, I had a goal to bike 22 miles in one hour. It took me four days of training hard to nail it on the fifth day but after that, I knew I was incorporating strength training and I ordered myself some new gloves! Yes, we put our families and children first, but we need to feel confident in who we were before our marriages and our children to be the best possible version of ourselves we need to be now!
Confidence is free, it comes from within, motivating that confidence means breaking away the layers of fears of LBL, insecurities, and feeling like we have lost ourselves. Poise® Impressa® is just the start to your magnificent journey to finding that confidence again. You can find the confidence that your LBL took away. It works comfortably to stop leaks before they happen, and you can wear for up to 12 hours!
Go on girlfriend, live your life, one workout at a time! You got this!
