Last Minute DIY Gift Idea – Birthday Lollipop Bouquet

You can not deny that edible gifts are always appreciated by people who don’t collect things. Shoot, even a child would go gaga for a birthday lollipop bouquet! This particular one cost less than $7 to make thanks to being able to grab all the items at my local Dollar Tree. I feel the birthday lollipop bouquet works great for older milestones such as 30, 40, 50….this one was “50 Sucks”…literally.

What you need:

1 Circle gift box

1 Flat round styrofoam

Super glue

1-2 Number candles (depending on how sold)

1-3 bags of lollipops depending on age.

I personally did a mix of the Tootsie Pops, Blow Pop Charms,  and Dum Dums to have a variety of color in wrappers as well as sizing (like a floral bouquet). You may choose to pick a color scheme. I have never had a dissatisfied gift recipient with these darling birthday lollipop bouquets.

Glue your round styrofoam to the bottom of the gift box.

Start from the outside and work your way in.

Make sure to place your number candles front and center and let the lollipops support them.  I used some tape to get them at the right position in my bouquet.

Once you have your outer band, place lollipops in the inner using different depths in the styrofoam to make some higher than the others.

While I was at the Dollar Tree I also picked up a bag and a card so the gift with everything was still under $10! It took about 10 minutes to create and I still get asked to make them as party center pieces now. Perfect little gift for coworkers too!

Who will you be creating a birthday lollipop bouquet for?
