Let’s face it. We see some amazing baked goodies this time of year. Your kid’s teacher will request fun goodies for parties. You will need to bring a sweet treat to a staff party. The list goes on. Why not have Halloween cookie decorating be your go-to for these events? You can whip up this Ghoulish Ghost cookie treat or the Easy Halloween Cookies Decorated as Pumpkins that we did in no time flat. A sweet treat that tastes amazing, is fun to do, and keeps in the spirit of Halloween treats! Older kids also can help decorate.
What we used
Milano Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Flavored Cookies (You can use any flavor)
Betty Crocker Bakery Icing: White and black
(2) Betty Crocker icing tips that attach to bags, but you can use your own pastry items if you have.
With a flat icing tip cover 3/4 of the cookie in white icing. If not perfect, utilize a butter knife to spread and get edges, carefully make the bottom uneven, you will line this with the black icing to shape your ghoulish ghost.
Use black icing and a writing tip to create the eyes and outline the bottom “skirt” of the ghoulish ghost.
Let sit a few minute before serving or storing so icing can firm up.
To store; put in a container with plastic wrap loosely around it.
Pair them up with the pumpkin cookies linked above for a fun pairing of flavors and sweet treats that would look adorable on a serving platter together. You can even stand these little guys up in pudding cups!
