Toddlers are chalk full of emotions. Some of the best are certainly when they giggle or laugh out loud. A toddler in genuine laughter will make all those around them laugh too. We teamed up with Mom Select and Bright Starts to have a play date with some of the most adorable toys available this holiday season! From ages 6 months to 36 months there is something for each little wiggle worm wether they are just sitting up, learning to crawl, or completely mobile and hard to chase down for photos.
The excitement of bright colored toys that make noise and give sensory and motor skill play is something adults and toddlers will both approve of.
From the most basic of toys with the Bunch of Balls™ that actually provided some of the most entertaining fun with the boys deciding to play a catch and retrieve game with one of the Dad’s, we were chasing these around for hours. One would go missing and later be found, only to bring on the fun again! Something that seemed so simple would actually get a tug of war going for who got to play with them. Thankfully there were plenty to be had.
The kids loved being hands on with the Bunch of Balls™ but then came the Giggables™ which not only had on going laughter but would roll away! Once they knew the ball was off and running, they were sure to follow. The perfect stocking stuffer for sure!
The parents were most impressed with the Learn & Giggle Fish™ which has some great educational aspects to it. With numbers, letters, and music, it is a great car toy that won’t roll away but will keep the car ride rolling smoothly. Also would fit great in a diaper bag to take on trips.
The toy that surely got the most laughs and smiles was the Spin & Giggle Puppy™. That little pup keeps the kids moving by having them chase the balls as they pop out! He spins around and the toddlers go crazy to chase the balls and put them back in before he spins again! One of my son’s friends had so much fun we had to gift him this toy, he is super picky on toys that will keep his attention span and this one passed the test!
Then came the silencer..well with giggles included. A toy that sits still and will keep them occupied for quite some time. The adults were pushed away so that they could sit down and play with the Learn & Giggle Activity Station™. With multiple windows to play with and spinning lights, sounds, and sensory, it kept the attention span of both the adults and toddlers. The kids were so excited about it, they wouldn’t even let us put the legs on correctly at first!
The excitement for all was a complete League of Little Laughters. Each toy giving a variation of age range for play and all very durable. The types of games that are easy to play can be as simple as using the music mode on the Learn & Giggle Fish™ and having a dance party to having a rolling contest with the balls! Or just throw all the balls over the baby gate at a Dad and make him chase them!
As the weather gets cooler and the kids are stuck inside, having a way to play with toys that go beyond individual play can make some fun play dates! We had our party after dinner so we served a variety of cookies, but honestly..the kids loved the toys more than any dessert offered!
