“I am a Stork OTC Ambassador. All opinions are my own.”
I want to open my heart to my readers about trying to conceive (TTC). I am very excited to be a selected Stork OTC Ambassador because our journey is not an easy one. We have Davin, who we are so blessed to be parents to. In 2012 we did not know how much work would go in to not only pinpointing ovulation but trying to get my cycle regular.
Immediately following our February 2012 wedding, I got off birth control. I had been on since a teenager, mostly to ease cycle cramps and fainting spells. My cycles immediately stopped. I gained weight (opposite of what they say will happen, apparently you should gain while on it!)
My doctor at the time suggested I get back in to a workout routine, tracking my eating habits, and to assist, as my weight was not budging, take a prescription to assist. October-November of that year, I lost about 20lbs. My doctor highly suggested using ovulation testing kits like First Response or even a fertility monitor, once I got two regular cycles back to back. As luck would have it, I got a December and January cycle. We immediately started tracking with ovulation tests.
As I can report back now, it took February of being very consistent and we were blessed with Davin, nine months later. Since then, it has been an ongoing battle. My doctor believes I was pregnant in November of 2015 but due to stress and other circumstances beyond my control, we had a chemical pregnancy that would not be viable. This is my first time opening up about this. This is why I am ready and willing to try optimizing my odds of conception with The Stork OTC home conception aid. A product that is readily available without a doctor’s help, in your local CVS stores.
Pinpointing ovulation would be the first step. My mistake from the beginning was believing that everyone has ovulation at about 14 days in their cycle. The month we got pregnant with Davin, my peak ovulation was more around day 20-21. Comparing to my ovulation kit last month which showed no actual ovulation days but peak days lasting from day 16-26 which is beyond normal. I am giving up trusting the “computer monitor” and going back to basics with the First Response ovulation kits.
We are ready to expand our family and give Davin a sibling. There is no way we can afford fertility testing nor treatments. Sure, stress is an ongoing factor that needs to be approached but there is nothing as miserable as the dreaded “two week wait” from the time you think you ovulated to the time of getting a big fat positive or disappoint big fat negative on that pregnancy test. What do you do once you have pinpointed ovulation? You need to get to work but your window of opportunity is so short, why not have a product to try that has proven success stories from many women and couples in general?
I can’t even begin to say, “a fraction of the cost”, because it truly is a minuscule investment to try The Stork OTC in the comfort of your own home. A product that can optimize your chances at fertility without the Doctor’s office and dropping lots of money. It may not be “sexy” but at a time that my son is nearing 3, my husband is freaking out about being 35, and my body has been all out of whack the past year, I am ready to jump head first in to some natural family planning and try to take charge of expanding my family.
Have you had issues trying to pinpoint your ovulation, get the right days to perfect the timing for conception? Was having your first child or second a game of stress and disappointment? Keeping your body in tip top shape, eating the right foods, taking the right vitamins, and doing the baby dance can only go so far for some couples. No one should be ashamed to seek help in bringing the miracle of life to the forefront of their desires. I hope to be able to tell you all that I’m pregnant before the end of the year. Please follow along on my journey of trying to conceive a sibling for Davin. I mean, I did clarify I can’t just buy any cute baby at the store, it’s not how it works!
The moment I showed The Stork OTC website to my friend who said her biggest regret in life would be if she never tries to have children, she rushed out to purchase ovulation test kits and a Stork OTC to try with her husband. Just to the friends I have explained and shown the product to, they are interested to know more, making a baby is a special moment that many want to enjoy in their lives. I am hoping this is the answer to our prayers.
