The Great Pirate Adventure Review – Paw Patrol Live 2018
Let me start off with, if you have a PAW Patrol fan in your home, I am ALWAYS going to recommend seeing the live shows. Seeing a child’s face light up without a holiday surrounding the purpose, is amazing! This year for 2018 the PAW Patrol Live has brought us The Great Pirate Adventure. A two segment live show with 15 minute intermission.
In Tampa for two days only at the Straz Center, you can still score tickets to the Sunday August 5, 2018 show at 10AM or 2PM if you are seeing this review. The perfect treat before school is back in session.
Adventure Bay is always busy and the pups are always available to help Ryder save the day! Longer than your normal thirty minute television episode, you get song and dance with bright colors, lights, and laughter. As a parent I want to really wipe the smirk off Mayor Humdinger’s face, but that is no different than every episode I watch.
When you come to the cliffhanger and the pups are stuck, who is going to help them get out of trouble? Well, a surprise pup guest! Tracker steals the stage with his helpful skills, no pup is too small and no job too big! My son’s favorite part of the show was solving the treasure map clues before the pups!
What treasure will they find? Will the pups beat Mayor Humdinger in the race against time to find the treasure first? With new songs, fun and silly dances, and the cutest little merpups I have ever seen, the show will capture your heart and of course the attention of your littles.
I do have two recommendations to make the show as enjoyable as possible. Please get yourself a booster seat for your child and if your child has sensitivity to bright lights, bring a baseball cap. The strobes and flashes of lights were a bit intense but once we handed my son his Father’s cap, he was back to full enjoyment.
While you are not permitted to take video or flash photography, they do encourage you to take photos and capture those memories! You can even share your photos on social media by using hashtag #PawPatrolLive
Each child will also receive a free pirate flag to help in the show, a great little souvenir!
Perfect for kids ages two and up! My son is four and this is his second year seeing live shows and each year it becomes more enjoyable for myself as a parent. I would highly recommend treating the family to this wonderful show and creating some memories of your own!
