Before I tried to conceive with my son Davin, I knew I had to get my body in tip top shape. This was apparent when I was having issues even getting my cycle to regulate. My doctor advised along with some weight loss that starting to take a prenatal supplement would help prepare my body as well as ad nourishing benefits such as healthy hair and nail growth.
The biggest issue with so many pill forms of prenatal vitamins is that they are either A) so big you have to try to avoid choking to get it down B) Lack the DHA you should get or C) no iron. Gummies sure are tasty but would require you to take a second pill to get the iron! I was sent the Prenatal Oxylent for free in order to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions are that of my own.
By the time I found out I was pregnant with Davin, I had been on prenatal vitamins a few months. When pregnancy brain kicked in, it was hard some days to recall if I had taken them. When I started testing out the Prenatal Oxylent I put the packet in a cup and put it on the stove so each morning I knew to take it. No threat of a pill rolling around or getting lost or forgetting to take it. My Doctor made sure to give me one once pregnancy was confirmed but he himself said that any variation would do as long as it had DHA and Iron.
The Prental Oxylent is meant to give you an option to take instead of another type. It is a replacement not an additional item to take!
Recommended for People who:
- Don’t enjoy swallowing pills
- Are planning to conceive, pregnant, or nursing
- Experience nausea and/or constipation with typical prenatal vitamins
- Want an easy and refreshing way to drink more water while pregnant
The packets come in a box of 30. It is easy to serve. Add and stir to water, add a few ice cubes, and enjoy! It really is like flavored water. I had issues trying to drink enough while pregnant and this would have definitely helped get more water in during the morning at least. It has been recommended by The American Pregnancy Association. As with all supplements and medications you should talk to your doctor first before taking anything.
Prenatal Oxylent contains no sugar, only Pure Stevia. It can be taken before, during, and after pregnancy. With a great subtle taste of Sparkling Cranberry Raspberry it is easily a better tasting solution than a big old horse pill!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
