Anyone who knows me, knows I am the ultimate handbag junkie. I have tried at times to find cute trendy bags that look high end but lack of quality always shows through. One of the first things friends come to me for when finding out they are pregnant is to ask about cloth diapers. The second thing? Diaper bags to fit those cloth diapers and their other must have essentials!
I will honestly state that a $400 bag I had been using was causing pain in my shoulder so it has been tucked away. I have seen my share of ripped up and destroyed bags from the local mass market stores. I’m not saying they won’t do the job, I am saying I have had no luck nor have my friends and quality over quantity plays a huge roll. If you have to replace your bag for rips, stains, broken zippers, and tears you might as well have started off with something that would last through multiple kids to begin with, right? Enter in The Bumble Collection Diaper Bags and their accessories! Quality with many options and lots of features to keep you organized and fashionable on the go!
I was sent the Amber Tote in Floral Lace to carry mine and Davin’s essentials to review. We are always out and about running errands so a diaper bag essentially turns in to a purse for me as well.
The Amber Tote retails for $94.99 and has some simple yet outstanding features that make it a must have in my book!
- Water Resistant & Stain Resistant
- Hard Bottom to allow bag to easily stand up
- Dual Exterior side pockets
- Adjustable, padded comfort strap
- Soil proof change pad
- Multiple pockets: two interior bottle pockets, two exterior side pockets, one interior zipper pocket, wide back magnetic pocket, two flat pockets under front flap and two flat pockets for diapers and wipes.
Stain resistant, because let’s be honest, milk stains, juice can stain, diaper items can stain, and even when we try our hardest to never out bag on unsanitary floors or other conditions, life happens! The bag does not flop over, this is a must have while digging through it one handed. The dual exterior pockets I use for my own water bottle on the go and Davin’s sippy cup. The inside pockets that could be used for bottles, I use one for my personal essentials, and one for my wallet and cell phone.
My favorite features (don’t laugh) are seriously a stress relief! The padded shoulder strap is so cozy! I feel like I have no pressure on my shoulder. The $400 bag I referenced earlier…yea metal pieces that would leave marks on me! Then The Bumble Collection Diaper Bag has magnetic closures. No zippers!!! How many times you have busted a zipper or could not seal something due to a zipper? I love this. No strain on the bag and no worries of breaking it.
I carry all I need in here including 3-4 cloth diapers, wet bag, wipes, change of outfit, snack cup, refill of snacks, medicines, sippy cup, water bottle, my wallet and little essentials, cell phone, and still have space to spare! I love the messenger bag style as it distributes the weight unlike some wider bags that go outwards from your body instead of long ways like a messenger bag.
The Amber Tote comes in multiple prints exclusive to The Bumble Collection as well as them carrying a variation of many other style bags if this one is just not the right style for you. The quality is far superior to regular canvas or plastic bags and I know will last through Davin and be ready for baby #2! Even Davin approves!
