The Baby Box Value Pack contains six products: Baby Bar, Breathe Easy Chest Rub, Bath & Massage Oil, Barrier Cream, Body Lotion, and Hair & Body Wash. Each product is available for sale individually or you can score a deal by purchasing in this kit! They even offer a new baby care trial pack with four of the items in smaller sizes for $12!
Barrier Cream: Due to us using cloth diapers on my son, I tested this out on my nephew. It is made with essential oils of lavender & calendula. A nice creamy mixture with a soothing scent. It will help lock in moisture after a bath and leave the bum nice and smooth! Perfect for the sore bums that come from acidic type changes. Also makes a great dry elbow cream!!!
Baby Bar: The adults in the house don’t use much soap in the form of bars so Davin was trying to use this more as a toy. It was great to rub down his back and feet though. The smell is very natural and not floral scented like many other types of baby cleansing products. It is made with Rooibos & Calendula. My son thinks this is a new bath toy and not so much a cleansing product. Would be great for older children with sensitive skin issues!
Breathe Easy Chest Rub: I can tell this is going to be a favorite as the weather cools down and the moisture and humidity switch around. I wish I had it last year when Davin was very congested due to a leak in our roof causing us to be chilly every night and the moisture giving us breathing issues. It is made of essential oils with Eucalyptus & Spearmint and smells just like spearmint gum! Nice to breathe in and very creamy to use, so a little goes a long way! I may need a bigger bottle!
Bath & Massage Oil: This stuff goes a LONG WAY! Use a gentle pump not even a full pump. It is like magical lavender in a bottle and perfect for the cranky baby who has had a long day but refuses sleep. Having the essential oils of Chamomile & Lavender makes it a perfect weapon of choice in creating a calming bath before cuddles and bed! Just remember a little goes a long way. You can put it in the bath water or rub on skin.
Body Lotion: I can’t pinpoint what it smells like but it’s nice! With essential oils of May Chang & Calendula it smells refreshing and awakening to the senses. Very creamy but smooths on without leaving a residue. My son loves when I massage his shoulders and feet with this lotion! Again, a little goes a long way.
Hair & Body Wash: I had to save our favorite for last! With essential oils of Calendula & Mandarin (and lavender), it smells like a tropical paradise but it did something that most items labeled “natural” of any type do not do..it lathers very well! My husband’s first comment was “Did I use too much? It lathers awesome!” It even rinses out easily without leaving a slick feeling across our son’s head like many other products tend to be do. You can use this as a full body wash as well so let it run down your child’s head and scrub a dub dub!
Davin, like myself, has very sensitive skin. After using for nearly a month we had no issues at all with skin sensitivity, dryness, or irritations. I combine a fun bath routine followed by a little bit of our normal lavender essential oils on his feet and behind his ears and I have a compliant baby who just want snuggles, some breast milk, and sweet dreams! This would be an excellent baby shower gift!
