My friends know me well. I love to cook. I love to host parties. I love to offer cooking tips. It did not come as a surprise to anyone that I wanted them all to finally reserve a night to get away from their jobs, their significant others, and their school books, to have fun. Yet, fun with me also means they will learn something. Just this time, it was not funny statistics or new jokes. I wanted to raise their KitchenIQ. KitchenIQ is a line of affordable and irresistible kitchen gadgets that not only look great but are high quality and make cooking even more fun,
I love kitchen gadgets. I love things that make my job in the kitchen easier, more fun, and make pretty looking food. I like things that are functional and serve a purpose. I love how the items that KitchenIQ sent me to use at my dinner party are things that can accomplish all of the above. I was sent The Better Zester, The 3-in-1 Potato Tool, and The Edge Grip Knife Sharpener.
When my friends walked in the door, they all were curious as to what I was going to offer them not only for dinner but to learn. None of them get to spend a lot of time in the kitchen trying out new things so this was the perfect time to take amateurs under my wing and let them see how to use new kitchen gadgets from KitchenIQ.
In my house we eat potatoes at least 2-3x a week so finding a 3-in-1 Potato Tool was pretty sweet! Not only did it give me a brush to scrub them but also a peeler and sharp paring knife to pluck out any of the hard pieces that grow inward. I can utilize the scrub brush for a variety of other veggies as well. With Non-stick stainless steel coated blades it makes it a smooth cut every time. I love how it is easy to hold with the ergonomic soft grip and non-slip handle. It make preparing our mashed potatoes so much easier.
The Better Zester was a favorite as no one knew what one was before I handed them their goody that KitchenIQ so kindly sent so they all got a fun tool to take home and use on their future recipes. This has to be a must have product as it is mess free thanks to the Fresh Zest container that also includes measurements and holds your grated zest. This is perfect for cooking, cocktails, and food decor. Is has a stainless steel V-etched Zester blade which allows you to easily zest all kinds of citrus. Easy to clean and gives a smooth zest with awesome hand grip placement and comfort of size.
Of course no kitchen let alone meal can be complete without being able to cut your produce, meats, or hard cheeses. This is where having the Edge Grip Knife Sharpener is such a perfect and tiny kitchen gadget but a necessity for someone who cooks a lot and always reaches for the same knives. I have had my knife block for over three years since my wedding.
I use the same knives day in and day out. They are DULL. A few good pulls through the Edge Grip Knife Sharpener and it was like I had a brand new knife, as if it was bought that day! With coarse sharpening slots that include carbide blades, they quickly sharpen even the dullest or damaged knifes with a few pulls. The Edge Grip Bottom allows a stable sharpening on counter tops or at the edge of a counter.
We served up a doozy of a meal utilizing all three of these fun KitchenIQ kitchen gadgets. One of my friends hopped on Amazon right away to see they are not only the high quality she was seeing and feeling for herself but they are super affordable! You can purchase these items and many other fun kitchen gadgets on the KitchenIQ website and Amazon.
Thanks to these products we had a Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Alfredo Pasta, Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Cheesy Garlic Crescent Bombs, and the side dish that everyone is still talking about, Roasted Balsamic Pear Asparagus with Lemon Zest. This meal took only a fraction of the time to prepare with help from my friends and help from KitchenIQ kitchen gadgets. I taught myself a few new cooking tips during the evening and have since then, implemented these items in to my normal routine of cooking.
My friends all had no clue about any of these products until the night of our dinner party. None of them had been in the same room in nearly three and a half years. It was a great time of bonding, friendship, food, and fun!
