DIY Christmas Wine Glass Candle Holder
We all know I love a great glass of wine. I have been known to create wine glass ice cream sundaes on morning television so it should come as no surprise that wine glass candle holder DIY projects are just up my alley.
I love how easy these are that you can create multiple to decorate around the whole house and of course you can create other holiday themes with the wine glass candle holder. Think, Halloween, Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, and Birthdays!
Small plastic christmas ornaments
“Faux snow” foam balls
Small piece of foam board
Turn the wine glass upside down on foam. Press down firmly, enough to dent the foam. (Or you could just use a pencil to trace.)
Cut out circle.
Turn wine glass back the right way.
Fill ¼ of the wine glass with faux snow. Set aside.
Carefully, glue plastic ornaments onto the foam circle.
Add more ornaments, stacking and gluing. Let dry.
Add glue to the rim of the wine glass and place foam circle with ornaments into the wine glass.
Glue around the rim and the foam circle to ensure no faux snow balls come out. Let dry.
Turn upside down and shake around until the “snow” sits where you would like it to.
Add a candle to the bottom (now top) of the wine glass.
What I love most about these wine glass candle holder creations is that you can easily fit any theme and you don’t need to use expensive materials. I know my local Walmart often carries wine glasses for a buck or less.
