My son has a lot of time to decide what he wants to be when he grows up. Currently though, he wants to be everything that Mommy and Daddy are. So he certainly wants to be a little chef and the Little Tikes Ultimate Cook Kitchen lets him serve up a fine little cup of Cappuccino, or his favorite, a darling little hot dog on a bun!
Fairly easy to put together (The directions say a drill would be quicker but we were able to do it all with a screw driver)…the hardest part to me was placing the stickers without being extremely crooked. Good thing my kid won’t notice.
Fun accessories that are more than just cookware. There is even some food! Lots of doors to open and close If not against a wall, a pass-through play window so they could actually role play and have a restaurant style kitchen! Geared at ages 2+ this will be a long term investment being played with for years to come.
Once put together you have some amazing features.
• Pass-through play window
• “Cappuccino” maker
• Stove makes fun electronic cooking sounds
• Plenty of storage
• Kids will love the “real working” oven, fridge and microwave doors
• Clicking oven knobs
• 30 fun accessories are included
• Requires 2 “AA” alkaline batteries (not included)
• Assembly Required! (Not too hard, I promise!)
To make things even more fun, I surprised my son with a basket of food and he got busy putting it all away in the kitchen and cooking it up. He enjoys the Little Tikes Ultimate Cook Kitchen so much that we have caught him climbing over the baby gate to his room to go play more often than not.
He will play for an hour or more by himself completely content. Lots of imagination going through his mind. He loves when he serves us food and he we say, “Hot! Hot! Hot!” To get him giggling lets us know he really enjoys the toy.
One of the best parts about this kitchen is it is big enough for more than one child to play. Buy additional food or accessories as extra gifts and it makes the kitchen feel new. Get a little Baker’s hat or chef hat and let them serve you a piping hot meal and fresh brewed beverage. Getting a toddler interested in imaginative and role play early on will lead to some great creativity and social skills!
From 10/10/15-11/1/15 you have the chance to win in our Mommy & Me Birthday Bash Giveaway!
