Thank you again to MAM Baby Products for joining in our Mommy & Me Birthday Bash event! Teething is one nightmare that no parent can avoid 100%. Every child develops at a different rate and for us, Davin was three and a half months when he grabbed my finger, shoved it in his mouth, and I felt the razor buds! Now at 10 months old he has a total of two bottom teeth and four, yes FOUR top teeth! He cut both bottom at the same time and all four of the top ones at the same time as well. We were sent these three products to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions are that of my own and in no way have been influenced.
MAM Baby Products sent us the Mini Cooler & Clip, Bite & Relax + Clip, and the Learn to Brush Set. Each of these are geared towards helping soothe the pains and frustrations of teething on your child but also help develop great habits early on. I was really excited about the learn to brush set as Davin mimics me while I brush his teeth. We just started to work on brushing his teeth each day and not using the old school style of a warm wash cloth. My big boy has his very own toothbrush now!
The Bite & Relax teething item that looks almost like a pacifier retails for about $6.99 and comes in blue, green, and pink. It comes with a clip to prevent your child from throwing it on the floor repetitively. Which Davin did so well. I think he was more confused than anything. It looks like a pacifier to him and he has never taken to a pacifier after about two months. I think it is designed well as it has four different surfaces for your child to rub their teeth and gums on while teething. You can see my son ready to toss this over the play fence.
The Mini Cooler & Clip teether has to be one of Davin’s favorites right now! He loves the cool feeling in his mouth. It also has some nodules for the gums. It too, has a clip to fasten to baby’s clothing. I need to use this because when it cools off he throws it out of his play area for the dogs to lick! Yea, gross! It has a ring handle which lets him grip it and not have cold hands unlike many other teething products. This product retails for about $7.99 and comes in multiple color options as well.
Now to Davin’s all time favorite. The Learn to Brush Set. This three piece set retails for about $7.99 and comes in a variation of colors too. It includes a long brush, that allows parent and baby to work on brushing together, a safety shield to keep the brush a safe distance from the back of the babies mouth, and a second brush called the Step 2 brush so baby can practice imitating brushing independently. As you can see, Davin LOVES to brush his teeth and each day likes to brush while Mommy does. This is a great way to teach these habits early on! The bristles are soft enough that I am sure it helping soothe any gum irritations he has as well while he continues with more teething.
Teething is a serious cause for lack of sleep, frustrations, and upset babies! All three of these products are creative and great ways to promote safe teething with BPA-FREE products and great oral hygiene.
