When it comes to wanting to have fun with the kids, a vacation is always a top thought. Though now days, the cost and expenses that can occur with a vacation is turning many family outings in to a mini road trip or a Staycation in their own back yard.
A Staycation can be an overnight trip within a local radius or even a few back to back adventures around your local area to enjoy what your town and city may have to offer. I grew up with many mini Staycations at a local hotel that had a pool and a restaurant on site. We always had to pack our snacks and I wish my Mom had it as easy back then as I do now with the help of Walmart. I am actually really excited to show you how I have teamed up to feature some of our favorite products in this post, Sponsored by Smucker®
I can easily turn any adventure in to a Snackation with some awesome products from Smucker® . You may be surprised by the goodies. We can create a whole afternoon of delicious snacks and pretty much a full day of nutrition.
With my son being a toddler and his friends or cousins being older, we thought planning a few fun Staycations around our local area could be fun. Let’s face it though. The hungry train rolls in with kids and it rolls in fast. I let my son help us pick out some scrumptious items on our last visit to Walmart to prepare for our adventure next week
. One of his favorite things to do is hit up the water parks and splash parks. Many cost a lot of money but we like to take a hike out to his Great Grandmother’s house which has a splash park and playground one block away. Normally we end up ravished after a long afternoon so this time we are preparing a full on Snackation to keep hunger at bay.
My son was all for grabbing his favorite box of Uncrustables. I knew the kids would get a kick out of the Jif to go Dippers. I am dying to try the Red Raspberry Fruit Spread to create a few tasty treats. Hands down though, I am freaking out about the Cookies ‘n Cream Hazelnut Spread. We are already adding this fun assortment to our favorite Jif Peanut Butter. I cant wait to get our picnic basket together and set up the perfect #Snackation station for the kids next week when we hit the Splash Park and have a full day of adventure practically in our own backyard!
